music box by removing some pins to change the tune.

Mystery, Beauty and Fun are three themes that keep popping up in my uncommissioned work. Mystery is essential in a true work of art. Modern life, science and technology would have us believe that there are no more mysteries but, quantum physicists especially, tell us the opposite------ that there are endless mysteries and it will always be so. Beauty, the ethereal motion of moonlit clouds, the diamond shimmers of sunlit waters, the late afternoon light on a loved one's face------we can't live without Beauty. We hunger for it. It is food for the soul. And Fun, meaningless Fun. It's something we're in danger of losing as we leave childhood behind.
